For over 60 years, it has been CHR’s mission to help those facing mental illness, addiction, trauma, and homelessness. With over 700 experienced employees, including, licensed therapists and physiatrists, we have over 24,000 patients struggling with addiction and other health-related issues. Addiction Services CT is just one of the many healthcare services CHR has to offer to the Connecticut area.

For those struggling with addiction, CHR offers a wide range of addiction services, including, outpatient services, a 30-day residential treatment center, and a treatment center dedicated to helping new mothers who are struggling with substance use. CHR also offers intervention and pre-trial programs.

Those who have served and are currently serving in the military can face many challenges when returning home. CHR offers a variety of addiction services CT for veterans, members of the armed forces and their families. Bryan Wade, Ph.D., an 11-year United States Air Force (USAF) and Massachusetts Army National Guard Veteran has been named agency’s first Veterans Service Coordinator. He serves at Clinical Director at CHR’s Enfield outpatient site, specializing in community-based programs that help adults struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.
