Collaboration between CHR and WNPR Named a Finalist in 2024 Ragan’s PR Daily Awards

Real Life, Real Hope Moments, a powerful collaboration between CT Public and nonprofit behavioral healthcare provider Community Health Resources (CHR), was honored as a finalist in Ragan’s prestigious PR Daily Awards, in the category of Social Justice/Advocacy Campaign.

The PR Daily Awards program is regarded as the communications industry’s most esteemed recognition platform, celebrating the most successful PR, marketing, and social media campaigns across the country.

“Our shared goal for Real Life, Real Hope Moments is to produce real-life stories to help diminish the stigma surrounding mental health and substance use treatment, and provide hope to listeners who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, or addictions,” said Heather Gates, President and CEO of CHR.

“We are incredibly grateful to CT Public Radio for their continued partnership to promote social justice and help dispel myths and misconceptions about mental health and substance use disorders. We are also deeply appreciative of the individuals who have bravely shared their stories, struggles, and paths to recovery through this initiative,” she added, noting that Real Life, Real Hope Moments air throughout the year during WNPR’s Morning Edition and the complete archive is available online.

Real Life Real Hope Moments are very important for families and individuals impacted by addiction and other behavioral health issues.
