Care is a principle-based program designed to improve services for children in out-of-home care. The model aims to influence the way residential childcare professionals think about working with children.

CARE principles include:

  • Developmentally Focused
  • Family Involved
  • Relationship-Based
  • Competence Centered
  • Trauma-Informed
  • Ecologically Oriented

CARE Agency Certification status is a testament to CHR’s long-term commitment to improving the lives of children and families we serve.
